You don’t need to be a Kavanagh Industries employee to submit and Idea to our Innovation Centre. Whenever you have an idea about how we can do something better, a new product or service or even a completely new business, we would like to hear about it.

Because Kavanagh Industries is A Thinking Corporation, your idea is safe with us. We may not implement your idea, but we will not take your idea and use it for our own benefit, or sell it to someone else. If we don’t implement it you will receive all of your information back and are free to submit it to another Thinking Corporation.

Remember to take a look at our Intellectual Property Policy to see how we view ownership if Intellectual Property and the Reward and Remuneration Policy as a guide to what your idea might be worth to you.

HERE ARE SOME GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING YOUR IDEA:

Sometimes you just get a great idea, or perhaps you have been thinking about a way that we can improve our systems and processes, or just save money. To let us know you can use the My Idea Form which is a nice easy way starting the process of making things better for us and for you.

If you have an idea that you have been thinking about for a while, or perhaps a big idea, then the Stage 1 Business Plan may be a better way to let us know. This provides us with a little more detail and helps us to evaluate your idea quicke

Once the Innovation Centre members have decided to take your idea to the next step, you will be asked to complete a Stage 2 Business Plan which means we are really getting serious. We may even provide some assistance completing this if you need it.

This plan is the tool that we use to make the decision of whether to implement your idea, or not. It is important that you take your time and send this to us as complete as possible.

Once you have submitted any of the above forms, you will be able to track the progress of your idea. We will provide regular updates on this site as well as being in touch with you in person, phone and email.
